These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and The CORSET Collective ("Company", “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the https://corsetconnect.org website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing the Site, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately.

1. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its Content (including source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics) and the Marks are owned or licensed by us and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.   • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: Cancel any time through account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term.
  • No Refunds: Payments are non‑refundable; we do not provide refunds or credits for partial‑month membership periods.
  • Fee Changes: We may change Subscription fees; we will provide reasonable prior notice of price changes.

5. Marketplace & Financial Transactions

The Site includes a marketplace for members to offer and procure professional services.

  • Venue: The CORSET Collective provides the venue but is not a direct party to agreements between members and does not endorse specific freelancers.
  • Mandatory Platform Payments: All marketplace payments must be processed through our designated payment processor (Stripe). Circumventing the platform payment system is prohibited and may result in account termination.
  • Platform Commission: We charge a commission on marketplace transactions; rates depend on the provider's membership tier and are deducted from payouts.
  • Disputes: We provide a dispute resolution framework but do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided.

6. Prohibited Activities

Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:

  • Systematically retrieving data or other content to create a collection, compilation, database, or directory without permission.
  • Unauthorized framing of or linking to the Site.
  • Harassing, intimidating, or threatening our employees or agents.
  • Attempting to bypass measures designed to prevent or restrict access.
  • Using information from the Site to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Using the Site inconsistently with applicable laws or regulations.

7. User Generated Contributions

The Site allows you to post User Contributions (profile info, listings, forum posts, reviews).

  • You are solely responsible for your User Contributions; you agree to indemnify us for related claims.
  • By posting, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, use, copy, display, and distribute such content.
  • We may edit, re-categorize, remove, or prescreen any User Contributions at our discretion without notice.
